“Dreamlike Reality” – understanding the true nature of things
November, Sat 16th | 10.00 to 13.15 | with Kadam Tim | KMC Copenhagen
“The things we normally see do not exist” – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Because we misunderstand the true nature of reality, we constantly create problems from ourself and limit our own happiness. However, through investigation according to Buddha’s wisdom, we can come to know the true nature of reality. Through this understanding, we can live our life free of unnecessary worry and fully enjoy the possibilities our precious human life presents.
In this Saturday morning workshop, we will investigate how things truly exist. You will learn to look at reality from a wisdom perspective – one that eventually leads to liberation and enlightenment.
(If you wish to read about this topic in advance, please download the free book “Modern Buddhism” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and read the chapter “Training in Ultimate Bodhicitta”)
About our workshops
Everyone is welcome to join our Saturday morning workshops. No previous experience of meditation is needed, nor is any special clothing required. Most people sit on chairs, though meditation cushions are provided for those that wish to use them.
The workshops are presented in easy-to-understand English and are attended by people with a great variety of backgrounds and culture. Each workshop consists of two teaching sessions with meditations, and a light brunch is served between them.
