Meditation og mindfulness for børn

Saturdays, Feb 2, 9, 16 & 23 | 15 – 16.15

Creating confidence

Repeat meditation class
Sundays, starting February 10th | 10.00 to 11.30 | with Kadam Mark or Tim | KMC Copenhagen

After years of trying to transform our lives with mixed results, it’s time to question our methods instead of ourselves. Change is hard. Especially the lasting, positive change that moves our lives in the right direction. But it has been done–for thousands of years. The Buddhist meditation tradition offers profound but practical tools that can connect us with the powerful potential within our minds. This class is a great way to develop the confidence and agency we need to create the meaningful change we seek.

The classes include talks and guided meditations in clear, easy-to-understand English and are suitable for beginners and those with more experience of meditation.

Drop-in to whichever dates suit you best.

Drop-in fee (per class): 80kr
Clip Card: (4 x classes): 280kr
Clip Card: (8 x classes): 480kr

Clear mind, peaceful heart

Feb, Sat 23rd | 10:00 to 13:15 | with Kadam Mark | KMC Copenhagen

Discover how to connect to the natural peace, clarity and potential of our minds through the practise of a special and highly practical meditation known as ‘The clarity of the mind’ meditation. We will explore how this experience enables us to easily let go of unhealthy states of mind such as anxiety and fear, as well as perceived faults and limiting beliefs that we may hold about ourself. We will also see how this experience enables us to develop confidence in our ability to cultivate our inner potential for good qualities, inner peace and happiness.

Also, we will explore how this experience opens the door to gaining insight into the true nature of things, including ourself. We will realise that we are not as fixed, stuck or limited as we can often feel we are. In truth, we all exist in a state of profound freedom and limitless potential for positive change. Connecting with this sense of freedom and potential, we become confident that we can change and live the truly peaceful, happy and fulfilling life we would want.

A world gone mad

Mar, Sat 8th | 10.00 to 13.15 | with Kadam Mark | KMC Copenhagen

Our modern age is a time of momentous and lightning-fast change. It seems as though a lot of things are going downhill fast, but this rapid change can also open doorways in people’s minds as they struggle to figure out another, better way to be, given that the old certainties are no longer working. What is modern Buddhism if not applying the ideas of Buddhism to the problems of the modern world? In this world we are all interconnected and interdependent like never before, and we ignore this fact at our peril. Far better to take advantage of it to spread the ideas of wisdom and compassion to bring about genuine, lasting improvement.

Through a skillful combination of talks, meditative exercises, and discussion, Kadam Mark will guide us to understand methods for purifying and transforming our minds and actions, and thereby purifying and transforming our actual world, including everyone in it

Workshop fee: 200kr | members: 50kr (light brunch included)
