Anxiety and stress are increasingly common problems for people in our busy, modern world. These states of mind prevent us from experiencing peace and enjoying life.
Meditation is an effective way to combat negative states of mind and create a sense of mental freedom. By gaining experience of Buddhist meditation techniques and positive thinking we can learn to control our mind, rather than allowing our mind to control us. By learning to accept painful feelings rather than being panicked by them we can keep a calm and happy mind in all situations.
The classes are taught in clear, easy-to-understand English. Suitable for complete beginners and those with more experience of meditation & mindfulness. Each class includes a talk and two guided meditations. Each class is self-contained. So, you can just drop in whenever you can, or attend the whole series if you wish. A Clip Card (see below) enables you to attend the whole series (or other classes) and save up to 25% on the class-by-class fee.
