In our busy modern lifestyles and increasingly hyper connected digital world, its easy for us all to feel a little disconnected from ourselves, others and what matters the most in life. Our minds can easily feel quite busy and distracted, so that we rarely feel fully centred in the present moment, or focused on what leads to genuine well-being. In this workshop Kadam Adam will introduce us to highly practical meditations and mindfulness trainings that are real solutions (for everyone) to this modern day challenge.
We will discover how in reality, this moment is all there ever really is. We will learn how to reconnect to a natural sense of presence, peace of mind and well-being that enables us to feel grounded and centred in this present moment. In this way we will develop the confidence to change, to be free of distraction and mental agitation. Also feeling centred in the present, we realise we don’t have to continue to feel burdened by a past long gone or constantly anxious and fearful about a future that has not yet happened. By paying attention to the present we feel free of the past and creatively shape the future we want.In this way we become confident we are focused in this moment on what matters most, and moving towards the peaceful, happy and fulfilling life we all seek. The morning will include talks & guided meditations in clear, easy-to-understand English.
