These weekly classes are suitable for beginners and those with more experience. In general, each class includes a talk and two guided meditations designed to help everyone find greater inner peace, happiness and well being in their lives. The classes teach proven methods and meditations to become more aware & present in the moment, overcome stress, cultivate inner strength and experience greater harmony in our relationships.

Discover how meditation and mindfulness can help everyone to live more stress free & consistently happy. We will explore various meditation practises that enable us to connect to a natural and consistent experience of inner peace and genuine happiness. This feeling of contentment and well-being helps us to cope with the busyness and difficulties of daily life.

We will explore how much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind. Through training in meditation and mindfulness we can reduce this stress. We will discover how we can learn to view every challenging situation we meet with the wisdom and peace of mind that enables us to accept and work with it more constructively. In this way we will be free of the normal stress we often experience in these situations. Gradually we will develop the inner resilience and confidence to view every challenge we meet as an opportunity for personal growth and development. In this way we can all learn what it means to live stress free and genuinely happy.

These 40 minute classes are specifically designed to help you relax into the evening and connect to a little peace and inspiration in the middle of your week. These classes offer an opportunity for everyone, from complete beginners to those with more experience of meditation to explore the highly practical approach of modern Buddhist psychology and meditation for improving our peace of mind, happiness and well-being.

We will explore how we all have an inner potential for self-transformation and a limitless capacity for the development of inner peace, happiness and good qualities such as love, compassion and wisdom. In each class we will learn a new meditation and practise for daily life – known as Lamrim (stages of the path to Enlightenment) – to enable us to progressively access and fully actualise this potential.

These classes will be based on a very special and highly practical presentation of fourteen Lamrim meditations and practises for daily life that are presented in the book ‘How to understand the mind – the nature and power of the mind’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
