These weekly classes are suitable for beginners and those with more experience. In general, each class includes a talk and two guided meditations designed to help everyone find greater inner peace, happiness and well being in their lives. The classes teach proven methods and meditations to become more aware & present in the moment, overcome stress, cultivate inner strength and experience greater harmony in our relationships.
Habits of a happy mind (In-person only)

As we know, habits are repeated and automatic behaviour. Some habits of mind are useful and lead to peaceful, positive and happy states of mind. Others are not so useful and don’t! One of the main things we learn through meditation is that we can change our mental habits from negative to positive; we are not fixed, we can change and develop.
In this series of classes, each week a teacher will explain at least one mental habit, taught by Buddha, they they themselves have experience of and enjoy practising. Generally this consists of letting go of a negative state of mind, and cultivating a positive state of mind – based on a foundation of inner peace developed through meditation. Through hearing the teaching, practicing meditation and engaging in discussion, you will gain wisdom and insight into how you yourself can develop the habits of a happy mind, through the practice of meditation.

To attend the class in-person, just come along to the class. Tea is served from 18.00. If you wish, you can buy a Clip Card here.
The classes include teachings, discussion and guided meditations. No previous experience of meditation is needed. Everyone is welcome, buddhist and non-buddhist alike and anyone can benefit from these teachings regardless of nationality, culture, background, gender or age.
Lineage of these instructions
The meditation practices we teach come from an unbroken lineage of instructions that go back to the teachings of Buddha, over 2500 years ago. They are timeless instructions that are very relevant for developing and maintaining a peaceful mind in today’s world.
Teachings for these classes will be drawn from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s books “How to Transform Your Life” and “How to Solve our Human Problems”. We would like to make weekly meditation classes as widely available as we can to everyone throughout Copenhagen and Denmark. We are currently exploring opportunities to launch branch classes outside of our Centre in Copenhagen.
