Join us for “Sustainable Self-confidence,” a special workshop for young professionals, where we will explore self-worth beyond the confines of professional success and societal expectations.
In today’s world, it’s all too common to tie our self-worth to our accomplishments. The constant pressure to perform can take a toll on our well-being, leaving us feeling insecure and unsure of ourselves. This event offers a sanctuary to unlock a wiser and more compassionate understanding of your self-worth.
During our time together, Kadam Tim, our resident teacher with over 20 years of meditation experience, will guide short meditations and share practical perspectives drawn from Buddha’s wisdom. We will explore how the pressure to perform arises, and you will discover a new way of relating to yourself and your potential. In fact, your potential is a peaceful, joyful and resilient sense of self that can carry you through life’s ups and downs.
Whether you’re dealing with job or study-related stress, feeling lost in the pursuit of goals, or seeking to improve yourself, this workshop will introduce you to how meditation can help you navigate these challenges.
Join Sunday June 16th and find Sustainable Self-confidence.
About this workshop
This workshop is one is a series that has been requested by and tailored for students and young professionals grappling with these common challenges. We plan to hold one of these special workshops every 3 months.
Everyone is welcome to join. No previous experience of meditation is needed, nor is any special clothing required. Most people sit on chairs, though meditation cushions are provided for those that wish to use them.
The workshops will be presented in easy-to-understand English and will be attended by people with a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
Each workshop consists of two teaching sessions with meditations, and a light refreshment is served between them. There’s also the opportunity to ask questions, discuss, and socialise with others.
