Join this city retreat and deepen your understanding of how to calm your busy mind and transform overthinking into wisdom thinking.
Learn practical meditation techniques and methods to clear mental clutter, allowing you to find your inner peace and wisdom. When we are upset we cannot make good decisions for ourselves or others, so we must always rely upon a happy mind alone.
Led by Kadam Tim, this retreat will help you cultivate a balanced mind that is of benefit to ourselves and others. Through guided meditation and reflection, you will gain tools to navigate life with greater wisdom and kindness.
About this retreat
Everyone is welcome to join our retreats. Whether you are new to meditation or already have experience, you are very welcome.
Upon arrival, please remove your shoes and jacket, set your phone to silent, and enjoy a cup of tea if you arrive early. We will be silent from arrival to the end of the second session, where you can ask questions and socialize.
There is no need for special clothing, and you may choose to meditate on a comfortable chair or a meditation cushion. The retreat is presented in clear, easy-to-understand English and is attended by people with a great variety of backgrounds and cultures. As the retreat takes place in a Buddhist meditation center, we begin with a short Buddhist prayer.
