About this retreat
Everyone is welcome to join our retreats. Whether you are new to meditation or already have experience, you are very welcome.
Upon arrival, please remove your shoes and jacket, set your phone to silent, and enjoy a cup of tea if you arrive early. We will be silent from arrival to the end of the second session, where you can ask questions and socialize.
There is no need for special clothing, and you may choose to meditate on a comfortable chair or a meditation cushion. The retreat is presented in clear, easy-to-understand English and is attended by people with a great variety of backgrounds and cultures. As the retreat takes place in a Buddhist meditation center, we begin with a short Buddhist prayer.

Match with a workshop & brunch
A City Retreat is a great opportunity to practice the meditations and insights given in the previous workshop. Join the Workshop & Brunch “Reinvent Yourself: How Meditation Changes Everything” on 9th November to learn about the mind and why it gets so busy.
The two events can be enjoyed together or separately.
