Liberation from Sorrow (Tara)
08 Dec kl 16:00 - 17:00

Tara is a female Buddha, whose name means “Rescuer”. She is the embodiment of swift compassion. If we rely upon Tara sincerely and with strong faith, she will protect us from all obstacles and fulfill all our wishes.

At Kadampa Centers worldwide, the eighth of the month is Tara Day.  The practice we do is called “Liberation from Sorrow” and lasts about an hour and a quarter

Everyone is welcome to join these prayers which will be dedicated to peace in our world.

About the teacher

Buddha Green Tara can help us very quickly. She is known as the ‘Great Liberator’ who pacifies all sickness, poverty, misfortune, fighting and quarrelling, and causes the Dharma and all good fortune to flourish. Her right leg extended also indicates her readiness to help others.
