Sunday Workshop
Understanding the Mystery of Karma
11 Feb kl 12:00 - 16:30

Embark on a transformative journey with our upcoming workshop, “Understanding the Mystery of Karma.” Delving into the heart of Buddhist philosophy, this workshop invites you to explore the profound concept of karma and its impact on our lives.

Karma, in Buddhist teachings, is the subtle force that weaves through every action, shaping our experiences and the path of our lives. Through engaging teachings and guided meditations, we will explore how karma affects our life. And, by unlocking the mystery of karma we can start our journey to become architects of our own destiny.

“An action, whether of body, speech or mind, is called ‘karma’ in Sanskrit. […] All our actions of body, speech and mind, are causes and all our experiences are their effects. The law of karma explains why each individual has a unique mental disposition, a unique physical disposition and unique experiences” – from “The Meditation Handbook” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

This workshop welcomes everyone, regardless of their familiarity with Buddhist philosophy, offering practical insights into karma’s nature and transformative potential. So, join us and start shaping your destiny consciously!

About this workshop

Everyone is welcome to join our workshops. No previous experience of meditation is needed, nor is any special clothing required. Most people sit on chairs, though meditation cushions are provided for those that wish to use them.

The workshops are presented in easy-to-understand English and are attended by people with a great variety of backgrounds and cultures.

As the workshop takes place in a buddhist meditation centre, it will start with a short buddhist prayer. Each workshop consists of two teaching sessions with meditations, and vegan and gluten free lunch is served between them.

For food allergies or questions about the workshop please send an email to [email protected].
