Description of this special event
Denmark is known internationally for the quality of life available in this country. Regularly, Denmark is assessed as one of the happiest countries in the world. This indicates, and is confirmed anecdotally, that people who live in Denmark are quite content. Danes seem to enjoy their lives.
This natural contentment is a form of joy. Joy is definitely a state of mind, and if we bring it to our activities, then we enjoy them. The trouble is that joy is often temporary, and can easily be lost in the midst of a busy, daily life.. What would it mean to find a deeper, more stable form of joy – a deeper joy? How would this positively affect our lives and how can we find such a deeper joy?
During this special evening event, Kadam Morten will explain how, through understanding Buddha’s teachings on the nature of our mind, and through our own experience in meditation, we can discover our potential for a deeper joy. This deep and stable form of joy brings a new level of fearlessness, confidence and energy with it. We can discover a more profound natural contentment that enables us to enjoy our life even more.
