In this workshop, you will come to understand what makes your mind so busy. With this understanding you can begin to stop overthinking and become happier and less concerned.
Discover meditation techniques and practical methods to calm your mind and think yourself happy. By getting to know our mind we can begin to consider: Which minds are harmful, stressful, and see only faults? And which minds see possibilities and increase our well being and feeling of purpose?
Join this workshop & brunch to learn meditation practices and strategies to achieve a balanced mind that finds happiness, not faults. Leave with tools to foster a positive mindset, enabling you to navigate life with greater clarity and joy.
About this workshop
Everyone is welcome to join our workshops. Whether you are new to meditation or already have experience, you are very welcome.
Upon arrival, please remove your shoes and jacket, set your phone to silent, and enjoy a cup of tea if you arrive early. There is no need for special clothing, and you may choose to meditate on a comfortable chair or a meditation cushion.
The workshop is presented in clear, easy-to-understand English and is attended by people with a great variety of backgrounds and cultures.
As the workshop takes place in a Buddhist meditation center, we begin with a short Buddhist prayer. Each workshop includes two teaching sessions with guided meditations, and a delicious vegetarian brunch is served between them.
